A Family Run Traditional Irish Pub
The Purty House may be Ramelton’s newest pub but the building has a long family history dating back to the 1800s. Originally a family home, in a later lifetime it came to be used for potato storage - aka the purty house.
Also known as Coyle’s Bar, the Purty House is run by father-son duo, Thomas & Jesse Coyle.
Located in Bridge End Ramelton, Co. Donegal on the Wild Atlantic Way, The Purty House is the perfect place to take a step back in time, and enjoy a quiet pint.

What a lovely local, family owned pub! The atmosphere is great, the owner is helpful and friendly, and the covered beer garden outside was perfect to enjoy a good pint outside despite the persistent rain. Would highly recommend if you're visiting / passing through Ramelton.

Always wanted to call in to see what the Purty House pub was like. It is very welcoming and the bar man is a gem, he fits in perfectly, would we call in again YES, I would recommend it. Purty House in Remelton up the hill on right, try it out.

Of my six days in Ramelton, I visited this pub 3 times. The Guinness is wonderful! This is a family run pub and has an incredible atmosphere. Highly recommended to anyone staying in town or driving through
